Collaborate with Erickson Library staff to integrate the  into curriculum. Instruction sessions are developed around research assignments. Library staff can assist in the development of research assignments for both campus and online courses.
Whether you’d like a presentation, student instruction, or a “pop-up” library–where we bring library materials to students in your classroom–we can make it happen.
Course Reserves
Service
Instructors may place course materials at the Circulation Desk for students to access for short term check out. This is most helpful for students who may not be able to purchase textbooks or who forget them at home and want to read ahead. Most loan periods are two-hours. To temporarily house your materials with the library, drop off your materials along with a completed Reserve Request form. The materials are still yours and you determine how long you want them in Course Reserves.

In addition to housing thousands of titles recommended for academic libraries, our growing collection consists of electronic resources, course specific, curriculum-driven books, journals and instructional videos. Direct your students to supplementary course reading with a specialized bibliography compiled by our staff.

Four Erickson Library Group Study Rooms have media:scape technology units to share your screen with others. These 40″ screens allow users to incorporate collaborative work and technology. If your students are struggling with technology or they need a refresher, this  includes interactive tutorials and information.

Perhaps the most valuable resource of any library are the people who can assist you in finding and providing the resources and information you need.
If you have an assignment that requires research or use of library resources, a faculty librarian is available to review it for ways to integrate resources to support your students’ learning.
The librarian is glad to help locate resources that would be useful for your classes. These can be materials the library already owns, material to be purchased, web sites, etc.
