BecomeÌýan 91ɬÂþ student

Before you apply to the Inside-Out program you must apply and become an 91ɬÂþ student.

You don’t need to re-apply to 91ɬÂþ if you’ve taken classes here in the last 2 years.ÌýIf you’ve taken classes for credit at 91ɬÂþ in the last 2 years, you are still active in our system. If it’s been 2 years or more since you took a class, you will need to apply again. However, to apply to the Inside-Out program, you will need to complete the program-specific application.

Background check
If you have been arrested, charged, or convicted of any criminal offense, you should investigate the impact that the arrest, charge, or conviction may have on your chances of employment in the field you intend to study. All students undergo a background check.

The class is facilitated by a Lake Superior College instructor who has been trained and certified by the national Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program.

Student selection
You must be an 91ɬÂþ student age 17 or older to apply. Program size is limited to 15 students. All applicants are required to fill out an application and will be contacted for an interview upon receipt of application. Students who have completed credits in Sociology will be given priority.
