Students in Lake Superior College’s Radiologic Technology Club will greet customers at Duluth’s Texas Roadhouse, 902 Mall Dr., on Sunday, Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. to raise money to attend the state conference and compete in MSRT State Knowledge Bowl. Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of participating patron bills to 91ɬ’s Radiologic Technology student club when guests mention 91ɬ
“We appreciate the Texas Roadhouse helping us fundraise to attend our state conference,” said Magdalene Baker, 91ɬ Radiologic Technology student club secretary/treasurer. “A highlight for us is participating in the State Knowledge Bowl competition which quizzes rad tech students about medical facts. 91ɬ students have placed at the top a number of times throughout the years. We hope to continue that good showing.”
91ɬ’s nationally accredited Radiologic Technology AAS degree program provides a full learning experience with both classroom training at the Duluth campus and clinical training at regional sites.
