
All interested in starting or returning to college this summer or fall are invited to schedule a physically distanced tour of 91ɬÂþ’s main campus as part of the Lake Superior College Spring Open House this Friday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 91ɬÂþ’s main campus, 2101 Trinity Road, Duluth, MN 55811.
Guests will get a guided tour of 91ɬÂþ’s beautiful main campus and learn about Lake Superior College’s 90+ programs, including technical and trades programs as well as liberal arts for transfer. Tours will guide visitors through hands-on career and technical labs including in programs like automotive, cybersecurity, respiratory therapy and much more. Prospective students interested in starting at 91ɬÂþ and saving thousands by completing their generals at Lake Superior College and then transferring to complete a bachelor’s degree can also visit classrooms, labs and support services including the tutoring and learning center, the 91ɬÂþ library and much more. Lake Superior College has also waived its application fee, so new students can #ApplyForFreeTo91ɬÂþ at www.lsc.edu/apply. Registration for Fall Semester 2021 is now open and the vast majority of classes that would usually be offered on campus will be safely delivered in person, with safety precautions in place.
The Open House is free and open to the public; however, due to COVID-19 related restrictions, registration is required in advance and the event has been modified to ensure the safety of all guests.Â
Guests will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about exciting, in-demand programs that lead to a 97% job placement rate among 91ɬÂþ graduates
- Tour 91ɬÂþ’s beautiful main campus and check out several new upgrades on campus including the Yellow Bike Coffee Café, Hawks Landing event center and student lounge (under construction), and the remodeled and expanded Intercultural Center (under construction)
- Visit classrooms and labs, and check out the state-of-the-art equipment in a variety of programs on main campus
- Receive a customized packet with information about programs, the admission prosses, financial aid, scholarships, academic support and much more
In accordance with 91ɬÂþ’s COVID-19 Back-To-Campus Preparedness Plan and with guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health, masks and social distancing are required at all times on any 91ɬÂþ campus and all guests will be asked to complete an online COVID-19 screening survey. RSVPs are required, space is limited, and all tours will be scheduled in advance to ensure required physical distancing. Those interested also have the opportunity to schedule a tour on a different date and time. An admissions representative will follow up with registered guests to provide additional details.Â
