Mental Health Special Presentation

Join Amy Fullerton, Mental Health Professional, and learn strategies for improving Attention, Memory and Motivation!

Registration for Spring Clay Target League is Open!
Have fun in an outdoor class in the fresh spring air. No prior shooting experience is necessary to participate.
The course is taught by Coach George Pappas, who has a status as an All-American Shooter. He will be inducted into the MN Shooting Hall of Fame this fall.
In this class you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a 5-week state-wide championship. Last season’s team placed 2nd in the Minnesota MCAC conference and 1st place in the USA Clay Target League. To sign up, register for HPER 1409 01 Intercollegiate Trapshooting II.

Overcome the Overwhelm Presentation
Resiliency and self-compassion are skills that can be learned and developed. Research clearly shows the positive impact they have not only on our mental wellness, but also on mitigating the effects of burnout and compassion fatigue.
Please join us in the Student Life Atrium at noon on April 3rd for guest speaker Sarah Ciavarri, a Certified Facilitator of all of Dr. Brené Brown’s curricula: Dare to Lead, Daring Greatly, Bold, and The Gifts of Imperfection as she walks us through ways to “Overcome The Overwhelm With Resilience and Self-Compassion”.

Lunch and Learn Financial Literacy
Affinity Plus and the Center for Equity and Inclusion are once again hosting a series of financial literacy sessions open to all students! The next session is Wednesday, March 27, 2024 on Budgeting Tips.
Sessions are held in the Center for Equity and Inclusion (M125) from 12-1 p.m. and lunch is served to those who attend.
