The Future in Focus: Career & Education Expo is 91ɬÂþ’s new annual spring event that brings together everything you need to focus on your next steps, whether that’s exploring future opportunities, leveraging your skills, making community connections, preparing for graduation, transferring to a university, or landing a job.

This event brings together the best of the former Career, Transfer, and Grad Fair and Student Success Day - now combined into one action-packed experience! Fall Semester Registration Begins Next Week!!

Priority registration for the 2026 Fall Semester begins this Monday, March 16. Priority registration groups include: students enrolled with Accessibility Services, Student Support Services (TRIO) and Veteran students.

  • 45+ earned credits starts on March 18
  • 30+ earned credits starts on March 20
  • 15+ earned credits starts on March 23
  • 1+ earned credits starts on March 25
  • Current Students start on March 27

Note: Earned credits are those completed with a grade

Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences Finalists Open Forums

If you didn't know we are looking for a new Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) for the next school year. We will have three finalists for the position on campus for open forums in the next few weeks.

Students are encouraged to attend in person or via Zoom.

Escaping Ukraine, Finding Hope tells the timely story of Mila Mostova's family leaving their beloved homeland to start over in America.

Once a teacher and devoted mother, Mila Mostova's days of teaching and gardening turn into nights of air sirens and explosions from war. As danger closes in, Mila makes a heartbreaking choice to leave Ukraine and protect her children at all costs.

Starting over isn't easy, but Mila's determination never wavers. Her children embrace a new school and language, while Mila channels her strength into building a new life - helping others overcome challenges, just as she has.

The Erickson Library will feature a Spring Book Club discussion in conjunction with the One Book Northland Program, "Where They Last Saw Her" on Tuesday, April 21.

The book, "Where They Last Saw Her" is now available for loan in the Erickson Library.

Ivy Vainio Art Exhibit Reception

The Erickson Library is hosting “Ivy Vainio Retrospective: 2011–2025,” a gallery exhibition showcasing 14 years of photography and fiber arts that explore culture, community, nature, and belonging. The exhibit is free and open to the public and is currently on display.

An artist reception will be held March 19 in the Minnesota Room of the Erickson Library from 12–1 p.m. and 5–7 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to stop by, meet the artist, and experience the collection.
