REMINDER: No Classes Friday -- Offices Closed, But Campus is Open

Tomorrow, Friday, April 11 there will be no classes and all offices are closed for 91涩漫 Employee Appreciation/Development Day. 

However, campus will be open if you need a space to study.

IceHawks Cafe and the 91涩漫 Store are closed on Friday.

Get the Classes you Want and Register for Fall

All current students are now able to register for courses in the fall. Connect with your advisor if you have any questions.

Earth Day Fair - April 22 (Campus Clean-Up Opportunity)

The 91涩漫 Earth Day Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on our Main Campus.

Activities include a make-and-take pine cone bird feeder, local vendors, a book swap and more!

Book Swap: If you have books you would like to find a new home for, please drop them off in the library or bring them on the day of the swap. Limit 5-8 books.

Campus Clean Up: There will also be a campus cleanup on April 22  at 9 a.m. If a Student Club is interested in participating, please contact Kate Rolfe

Get Your Computer Fixed or Updated

Computer Information Systems (CIS) students will be conducting a computer clinic for 91涩漫 students and staff to bring any personal computers for troubleshooting, fixing or updating.

Students will be available the following times in Help Desk/Technology Support L140 room or S260 computer lab during March 31- May 2. 

Times

• Monday: 9 a.m. - Noon
• Tuesday: 12:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.
• Wednesday: 9 a.m. - Noon
• Thursday: 12:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.
• Friday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

April is Stress Awareness Month

April is Stress Awareness Month, making it a great time to check in with ourselves about prioritizing self-care, which often goes to the bottom of our “to do” lists when life gets busy (and stressful). 

Consider implementing some of the small changes on the right that can make a big difference in how we feel!

If you're feeling stressed and want to talk to someone please reach out to Amy Fullerton, Director of Mental Health, to schedule an appointment or check out the virtual services offered by Mantra Health or the peer-to-peer platform, .

Fall semester scholarship applications are now available for students planning to attend this fall. The application deadline is May 6, 2025.

Please complete the easy application. Our software matches applicants with the appropriate scholarship(s).

91涩漫 manufacturing students recently competed at the SkillsUSA Minnesota State Leadership and Skills Conference.

Students competed in CNC Milling Specialist (CNC Programming), Precision Machining Technology (manual machining), Automated Manufacturing Technology (CNC machining team), Technical Drafting, Welding Sculpture, Welding, Mechanics Dexterity, and Tool & Equipment Technology.
